Buried Page 20
Mystery still surrounds Minnie. Why did she dream memories before she ever touched the grail? And why are her eyes still covered with lauvan? These are questions that we can find answers to, together.
March has disappeared, and Potestas disbanded. Wherever she is, she is bereft of helpers for her plans. We have the grail, and the spirits won’t be released without it. Her final note is disconcerting, however. While March is still alive, she will scheme. Perhaps I should not have let her escape, but it is too late for such misgivings.
I discovered the source of my abilities. My half-spirit heritage was a shock. I’m disappointed I never was able to contact my spirit father before he was reborn as “the successor.” Now that my friends and lover are revealed to me, and I have answers about my past, I have no desire to release the successor from his prison. He can rot there. Perhaps he and his spirit followers have a plan, but I’m not concerned. We can handle anything they throw at us.
I am not alone.
